Maybe you are going out with someone for the first time, or maybe you have been with the same person for a long time - but you want to do something different, something other than the same old dinner and a movie. Here are some creative date ideas that might just help to make your date a memorable one.

1. Go out on a picnic

If the weather is nice, go out on a picnic. Especially if you know that the girl likes the outdoors, a picnic is a perfect date. It gives you a chance to talk and to get to know each other better. After all, how can you really spend time together if you are stuck in a movie theater? But if you take her out on a picnic and a hike it's the perfect opportunity to have a chat.

2. Go to an amusement park

If you know for certain that she is a kid at heart, take her to an amusement park. Nothing is more fun for a girl than to go home with a stuffed animal that your date has won for you. And, if you are more than friends, there is always the tunnel of love.

3. Go for a hot air balloon ride

4. Go horseback riding

Again, a good idea if your date is the outdoors type. This isn't a good idea though if you have plans for the date to end with more than a goodnight kiss though, since chances are you both will be very sore and not up for doing anything physical!

5. Take your date on a progressive dinner

Keep her guessing all through the night and keep the surprises coming. Go one place for appetizers, one place for the main course, another for dessert. It will make the date memorable and it will also make it a lot of fun.
