Had your share of relationship woes? Tired of dating
frogs? Are all the good men married or dead? Have the aliens abducted
all the good guys? If you feel this is your life, hang on. If you can
answer yes to any of these questions, do not run away. I have some
solutions. Grabbing a great guy is not so hard if you know what to look
for. Here is some help:
- Take your time getting to know any
new person. That goes for guys and gals alike. Far too often we rush
forward with just good feelings to guide us. There is much more to a
good relationship that just feelings.
Since you are
taking your time, your being observant and using your effective
listening skills, you can train yourself to pay attention to this:
- Are you a priority in this man's life? That is one way of knowing if you are important to him.
- Is
he committed to your well-being? He has good potential if he takes you
into account when he decides to do things. On a work night, a great guy
will not try to keep you out till 3am.
- Does he take into account what is good for you as well as what is good for him?
- Does his listen to you to find out what your needs and desires are?
- Do
his actions match what he says? Look carefully here ladies. Talk is
cheap; actions speak much louder than words. Women love to be soothed
with sweet words. Wake up and check out what he does. If it al lines
up, he may just be a prince.
- Does he keep his promises to you? Or is he full of excuses?
- What does he say to his friends and family about you? Is he kind and complimentary about you to others?
- Does he have a healthy bond with his mom? Does he respect his Mother?
