Everyone agrees that both sexes are equal. However, there are many situations when a woman finds that a man is sexist in dating. You need to be aware of what you are saying before you engage in a conversation with her.

There are two outcomes. She might run or she might have the best conversation with the smartest man she had ever met.

When the dating discussion comes to career issue, men sometimes do not realize that they actually deny women from working. It is sort of a traditional process. But, women don't stay at home and look after their kids as a typical post-marriage process. Men do not recognize this. They consider women as the secondary income earner and that they must be the primary breadwinners. There are many examples out there where the woman is earning double or even triple the amount of salary their husbands earn. But, the issue isn't about money. It's about them being happy together.

The other time, when a male lawyer asked me that he had angered his lawyer girlfriend unknowingly and she refused to speak to him. When I asked him what he said to make his girlfriend so furious, he grinned sheepishly and told me, "Actually, I said that her sister should be paid less even though she is a Certified Public Account because she chose to work in a low-paying job."

Instead of saying, "All of us should be the same. We are all professionals!"

Moreover, when a man is not yet attached, he sees this problem as something that is remotely concerned to him. It is only when there are experiences when his wife or daughter who starts a career, he is then able to cast the sexism issue in a better light.

Nowadays, modern women believe in equality. Assure her by saying, "I see the problem about your sister. And believe me, if I had the power, I will change this system." Say one wrong thing about her career and you are out of the dating game.
