Imo, it’s better to have a meeting place at first date. Simply, you don’t know the person well. Remember that it’s your first meeting, who knows? Maybe he’s a serial killer or a kidnapper? lol..

Kidding aside, it’s better to pick me up when it’s our second date. In this case, I have known him and get the chance to talk to him.
